Rubo-Agri Business is more than just a farm—it’s a movement to transform agriculture in the
Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). We proudly operate in Equateur Province and
Maindombe, working side by side with farmers, traders, and families to bring fresh produce,
meat, and essential services to local markets.
Our Story
Rubo-Agri was founded by Regeza Kamunga Theodore, a lifelong farmer with deep roots in
agriculture. From working in his grandfather’s fields as a child to leading a company that feeds
thousands, Regeza has always believed in the power of farming to change lives.
With his startup experience and agricultural knowledge, he’s building a company that
supports farmers, empowers communities, and strengthens food security in the region.
Then came Shabani Mukwege, a theoretical physics graduate from the University of
Kinshasa with a surprising love for business and partnerships. He first joined Rubo-Agri as a
volunteer, driven by a curiosity to see how agriculture and business could work together.
Before long, he became the driving force behind expanding our partnerships and building
valuable relationships helping us reach more farmers, businesses, and markets.
